Watch: ‘Silicon Valley’ Season 2 Trailer

Silicon Valley’ Season 2 Trailer

Hoodies. Whiteboards. Mountain Dew Code Reds, and Cheeto fist grabs. Bong rips, comfortable footwear, monsters-who-put-artisanal-butter-in-the-freezer.

The new trailer for the hit dorkumentary from Mike Judge got dropped on YouTube on Friday. And if you’re like us, you can’t wait for the return of the Pied Piper gang in two short months.

The new 10-episode season will kick off at 10 p.m. Eastern on Sunday, April 12, according to HBO. Judge, of Beavis & Butthead, Office Space, andIdiocracy fame, will once again be bringing “his irreverent brand of humor to HBO in this Emmy- and Golden Globe-nominated comedy series, which looks at the modern-day epicenter of the high-tech gold rush, where the people most qualified to succeed are the least capable of handling success,” the cable network assures us.

When last we left the brain trust of startup Pied Piper, they’d conquered TechCrunch Disrupt with their file-compression breakthrough born from a spontaneous, last-minute, desperation-fueled spit-balling session which sought to puzzle out a maximally efficient algorithm for distributing hand-jobs. The trailer for the second season doesn’t promise anything so divinely hilarious, instead simply hitting us with quick-cut images of our favorite characters, still in full-blown nerd mode despite their success, promising that the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Returning to Silicon Valley for its second season are Thomas Middleditch, T.J. Miller, Zach Woods, Kumail Nanjiani, and Martin Starr. HBO’s cast list also names Josh Brener, Amanda Crew, Matt Ross, Suzanne Cryer, and Jimmy O. Yang as series regulars, while Ben Feldman, Chris Diamantopoulos, and Alice Wetterlund are listed for guest starring appearances.
