Here are some initial impressions about the QMobile LINQ L20.
Design:
The LINQ L20 comes with a textured back and a chrome metal band that runs around the edges. The phone feels durable, with the buttons comfortably positioned and the phone’s compact size resulting in a good grip.
Display:
The phone is available in two colors, white and black. It has AMOLED panels for display that are great for movies and games. Under the glare of sunlight, the screen performs with adequate brightness.
Hardware:
The smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz Octa-Core processor and 2GB RAM. It comes with 16GB internal storage; however, the expandable microSD cards of up to 128GB can be used to boost the storage capacity. The LinQ L20 offers two SIM card slots that support 3G and conventional connectivity features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS.
Software:
The phone comes with Android Lollipop 5.1 OS. The performance seems responsive and the games run without running into slowdowns. The Linq smartphone does come with a custom Android skin with negligible effect on performance.
Performance:
The combination of MediaTek chipset and 2GB RAM is great for graphics-heavy games. With pre-loaded Microsoft Office applications, you can easily multitask.
Camera:
The 13MP rear camera comes equipped with the wide f2.2 aperture and a 4P Largan lens, which makes it absorb a good amount of light to capture bright images. The results are good in day-light conditions. The LED flash at the rear is sufficient in capturing well-lit images in pitch dark conditions. The front 5MP camera is also accompanied by an LED flash, and also features a number of modes including HDR and Panoramic to experiment with the shots you take
