Media Stalwarts to Speak at School of Tomorrow Festival 2015
Stalwarts of Pakistani media industry will be talking at various aspects where media can impact education and how media can be helpful in reshaping education in the future and schooling of tomorrow.
Pakistani television actor, model, documentary filmmaker, video and music video producer, commercial and music video director, visual storyteller and former VJ Adnan Malik will be part of the panel discussion about “Privacy and Social Norms”.
Daniyal Noorani, creator of Quaid se Baatain, will be talking about “Doremon, Dubbed Cartoons and Our Children: Cultural Invasion Redefined.” Famous Filmmaker Jami will be part of panel discussion on “The Influence of Electronic Media on Young People.” Star Anchorperson Shahzaib Khanzada will be part of a panel discussion on “Impact of Economic Progress on Environment.” Face of Pakistan’s fashion industry Vaneeza Ahmed is part of panel discussion on importance of healthy food. Star of English column writing Norbert Almeida will be talking about “Keeping Your Child Digitally Safe.”
Many media personalities are also going to be panel moderators at School of Tomorrow 2015 such as Ayesha Tammy Haq who is moderating session on de-weaponisation, Pakistan’s leading anchorperson Gharida Farooqi will be moderating session on “Public & Private Education Partnerships.” Multitalented actress, TV host, and educationist Nadia Jamil will be moderating session on “Freedom Of Expression.”
School of Tomorrow International Education and Cultural Festival 2015 is Pakistan’s first of its kind event that is taking place in Karachi at Beach Luxury Hotel on 28th and 29th November.
The core idea behind SOT 2015 is to understand how external forces such as geopolitics and global security, media and digital technologies, art and culture and the environment and society are shaping 21st century schools and to propose new directions for the future.
