Lenovo Announces Windows Hybrids and Tablet for Every Audience
Lenovo made sure those on the watch for a new tablet or hybrid don’t go anywhere else, with a massive range of products ranging from a $100 Android slate, to a high-end Windows convertible. We will focus on only the Windows systems that Lenovo rolled out recently, here.
Lenovo Miix 310
We are assuming this tablet has a big chance at getting popular, thanks to a price tag of $229. Apparently, not a lot of corners were cut to reach that. The slate has a 10.1” display with Full HD resolution, with the option of a detachable keyboard with a magnetic hinge.
Underneath, you get the latest Intel Atom X5 processor with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of storage, with the option to expand via microSD. There will be an optional LTE version, weighs 580 grams and has a battery life quoted at being 10 hours long.
Lenovo Yoga 710
The next in line is the Yoga 710, which is a hybrid available in either 11” or 14” iterations, with both starting at $499 and $799 respectively. They both have 1080p displays as well as an 8-hour battery.
Both versions are markedly different in what they offer. The 11-inch model comes with processors ranging between Pentium or Core m5, up to 8 GB RAM and 256 GB of storage.
The 17-inch version on the other hand comes with up to a Core i7 SkyLake processor with an optional Nvidia GeForce GPU, 20 percent faster faster Wi-Fi, up to 8 GB RAM and 256 GB worth storage. Both of these machines are svelte and good-looking (weighing from 2.35 lbs only) and available starting from May.
Lenovo Yoga 510 (or Flex 4)
Sold under the Flex 4 name in a few markets, the Yoga 510 will be available in 14 or 15-inch versions, both having 1080p resolutions. Both are priced at $599 and $699 respectively.
Under the hood, you get a SkyLake processor with 8 GB RAM/256 GB of storage. Battery life is increased by up to 50 percent, thanks to the 6th-gen Intel chip. There’s also a choice of Radeon R7 M460 GPU, which you don’t really see too often.
Lenovo Yoga 900
The most high-end of all these machines is the one: the Yoga 900. Already unveiled earlier, the Yoga 900 comes with a 13.3” QHD+ (3200 x 1800) resolution, with a hinge which consists of 813 unique parts.
Under the six-row keyboard, you’ll find a 6th generation Core i7 SkyLake processor with up to 8 GB worth RAM and a 512 GB SSD, but sadly no dedicated graphics card. Coming with JBL stereo speakers and 50 percent greater battery, prices start at $1300.
