Check Out This Diamond-Encrusted Apple Watch

Sure, the 18-karat gold Apple Watch will reportedly set you back a pretty pennywhen it finally hits the market, but if you want something that’s really going to impress your friends luxury retailer Brikk might have just the thing.

The same company behind the $8,395 diamond-encrusted iPhone 6 justunveiled its latest creations — a new lineup of fancy Apple Watches designed to offer “unmatched opulence to an exclusive clientele worldwide.” The new Lux Watch product line includes 30 luxury models starting at $7,495 all the way up to $69,995.

Brikk Deluxe Apple WatchThe Lux Watch is available in either 24-carat yellow gold, 18-carat pink gold, or 950 platinum in both 38mm and 42mm sizes. The “standard” model features a single row of diamonds totaling half a carat around the watch face, and comes with a leather strap. There’s also a “Deluxe” edition (right), which has 2.3 carats of diamonds in multiple rows around the face, diamond encrusted bottoms, and a leather strap with a diamond studded clasp.

For those who want the most bling, Brikk is offering the top-of-the-line “Omni” version (above), which has a “fully diamond-wrapped case and band of over 12 carats.” And don’t expect any cloudy diamonds here. The company uses only high-quality stunners rated D in color and VVS1 in clarity.

“The Lux Watch line stands out thanks to its meticulous production processes,” Brikk said in a statement. “Each piece is disassembled inside Brikk’s state-of-the-art laboratory in Los Angeles by a team of skilled engineers. They are hand polished, then plated with five layers of diverse metals before their final plating in either two layers of gold or platinum.” After setting the diamonds with a microscope in a custom-machined bezel, the team then reassembles the snazzy timepiece and tests it before shipping it out to you.

Those with seriously deep pockets can pre-order their diamond-encrusted Apple watch now. Pre-orders are expected to ship out 4 to 6 weeks after Apple officially releases the watch in April.

Apple Watch Goes Vogue
If the Brikk is too pricey, you can gaze at Cupertino’s timepiece in a 12-page spread in Vogue.

The 604-page Spring Fashion Blockbuster issue stars more than cover girls Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss: The March edition features all three Apple Watch styles—stainless-steel, sport, and 18-karat gold.

First spotted by Re/code, the fashion accessory graces the glossy sheets following Anna Wintour’s letter from the editor. Each page features an actual-size watch or a detailed close-up of its wristband.

But fashion, and prime real estate, doesn’t come cheap: Based onVogue‘s general rates, Apple likely shelled out around $169,000 for 12 pages of exposure for its already hyped-up gadget.

Apple declined to comment on the advertisement, and Vogue did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The $349 smartwatch is set for an April release, hitting shelves with 38mm or 42mm faces, and a circular, magnetic charger that snaps onto the back. It looks like we might get more details on March 9, when Apple is hosting a special event in San Francisco.

Apple Watch is making the fashion rounds. Following its international debut on the cover of Vogue China last year, the wearable was on the March cover of Self magazine, on the arm of supermodel Candice Swanepoel.
