HTC One M9 shown from all sides in leaked press images

If the latest leaked images and specifications are real — and they do look very convincing — then there are very few secrets left about HTC’s upcoming flagship phone, the HTC One M9.

On Sunday, German site Mobile Geeks posted a number of One M9 images which look like press renders, showing the device from all angles. And later that day, Phandroid posted photos of the device, which seem to confirm the previous leak.

In the images, we can see that HTC did not stray much from its design philosophy, with the One M9 being pretty much a dead ringer for its predecessor, the One M8.

One big difference is the lack of dual UltraPixel camera in the back, which has apparently been replaced with a regular, 20.7-megapixel shooter. Other than that, the device has a metallic body, coming in at least two colors — silver/gold and dark grey. HTC’s trademark stereo speakers are on the front as always, but the power button has moved from the phone’s top to the side.

As far as specifications go, the One M9 has a 5-inch, full HD display, a 2GHz, octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage (expandable with microSD cards) and a 2,840mAh battery. The device will run Android 5.0 Lollipop, with HTC’s Sense 7.0 UI.

Mobile Geeks, who captured all this info from some early online listings, even managed to snag the price of the phone in Germany: 749 euros ($850).

HTC is scheduled to officially deliver the news about the new phone on March 1, during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
