Sprint Galaxy Note 4 update
We already knew that the Galaxy Note 4 would be upgraded straight to the Android 5.0.1 update, but we didn’t know exactly when. After hitting devices over-the-air (OTA) in Europe, Android 5.0.1 is now rolling out to Sprint in the US.
Android 5.0.1 presents only a minor upgrade over the initial version of Lollipop (5.0), with no significant changes to the general UI. It is nonetheless a more stable and secure version of the software and free from many of the Android Lollipop problems that initially plagued devices.
Sprint’s Lollipop upgrade package is a big file, so make sure you’re connected to WiFi and your phone is charged to at least 50 percent before downloading. Check your software update page (settings > about phone) now to see if your handset is ready to be upgraded.
