The social media site that wastes your precious time at the office has done it again, ranked as the No. 1 internship with a rating of 4.6 out of 5.

“You are working on very interesting problems, which actually affect more than a billion people,” said one Facebook intern.

The American energy corporation beats out Google for second place this year with a rating of 4.6. It also has an easier interviewing rating than Facebook.

“Work-life balance was excellent, and I enjoyed the professionalism and congeniality of everyone I worked with,” a Chevron MBA intern said. “I feel they take employee health and happiness very seriously.”

Tech giant Google earned a rating of 4.6, securing the third spot on the list. Does it have to do with its tricked-out offices?

“Millions of users used my project, so even as an intern I really felt as if I was making an impact,” said one lucky Google software engineer intern.

According to another intern, Google also provides training classes for personal development.

As the largest online retailer in mortgage loans, Quicken Loans earned a 4.5 from its interns.

“The company is very forward thinking and constantly evolving,” said a former intern. “Another bonus: There is almost always free lunch.”

Score.

The popular e-commerce company that allows you to sell and buy almost anything received a 4.5, ranking fifth overall.

“I felt appreciated, guided and really like I was a part of the team,” said a public relations intern.

Ebay also “Bagel Wednesdays” for the staff, so that’s a plus.

Yahoo earned itself a 4.5 rating, just a few spots below its rival Google.

“Yahoo is a great place to work. The people are energetic and dedicated,” a technical intern said.

The health software company founded in 1979 received a 4.4 rating, landing it the seventh spot. Fun fact: Its headquarters are located in Wisconsin (hence that cow on Epic Systems’ homepage.)

A corporation software intern said the project that the company assigned him was well-defined, but there was a lot of flexibility with where he could take it.

Schlumberger is the world’s largest oilfields service company, with employees in more than
85 countries. It earned a 4.4 rating.

“As an intern, I was given real projects and challenged,” said a former intern.

The entertainment company, which produces shows like the TODAY show and The Voice, is the only one of its kind to reach the top 10. It was rated with a 4.4.

“They have professional development sessions to go along with your experience in your department,” a former intern revealed.

Last but not least, this management consultant firm earned a 4.4, as well as the highest interviewing difficulty rating on the whole list.

“People are generally friendly, as is management,” a summer intern said. “Career development is kept front of mind.”
